Sockly

Text message consent

Effective September 26, 2026

Sockly answers phone calls for the businesses that use it. When you call one of those businesses, the Sockly assistant asks your permission before any text message is sent to you. This page describes that process.

How consent is collected

Consent is given verbally during a call you place to the business. After you provide your callback number, the assistant asks:

“Is it okay if we text you at this number about your request? You can reply STOP anytime.”

Your answer is recorded with the date and time. If you say no, you will not receive text messages about that request, and the business will follow up by phone instead. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

What you may receive

  • Confirmation of an appointment you booked, and reminders before it.
  • A reply after a missed call, so you can continue by text.
  • A payment or deposit link you asked for during a call.
  • A follow-up about a request you made that was not yet scheduled.
  • Replies to texts you send the business.

Messages come from the business you called and relate to your request. They are not marketing promotions.

Frequency, cost and opting out

  • Message frequency varies based on your requests and appointments.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. You will receive one confirmation and no further texts.
  • Reply HELP for help, or email hello@sockly.ai.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
